H & I Automotive was established in 2009 by Spencer Doucet. He started this organization with the ultimate goal of giving his customers quality auto repair at a great value. Spencer has been a technician for over 20 years and is factory-trained for Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, and is one of only a handful of General Motors World Class Technicians in AZ. Spencer partnered with retired Gilbert Fire Captain Danny Grant and active Superstition Mountain firefighter Paul Garcia in 2017 to expand H&I’s presence in the east valley.

  • Found blown 30 amp low profile j-case fuse in underhood fuse block, replaced fuse and outlets are working as they should.
  • -Confirmed concern, found passenger side cooling fan inoperative causing driver side fan to be stuck on high to compensate. Proceeded to access the connector to load test circuit, good power and ground are present. Recommend replacing fan assembly.
  • Road test vehicle. Change oil and oil filter. Rotate tires as needed. Lubricate chassis as needed. Perform Vehicle inspection. Adjust tire pressure. Fill windshield washer fluid.

  • Add cleaner to power steering system. Road test for power steering operation. Inspect system for leaks. Perform fluid exchange in power steering lines, pump, steering rack / gear box. Install power steering additive to revitalize seals. Road test vehicle.
  • NOTE: vehicle has air bag suspension so make sure to be careful / do whatever necessary before lifting on hoist…
