  • check for codes and found P1157 AFS, Unplug the A/F sensor and turn the key on and check the A/F sensor voltages on the Red wire and the Blue wire on the harness side – looking for about 2.2 volts and 1.8 volts found voltage within spec. Verify good battery voltage to the A/F sensor heater on the White wire on the harness side, found battery voltage. Ground the A/F sensor heater through an ammeter on the Black/White wire at terminal A10 of the Engine Control Module (ECM) to measure the heater circuit current flow, found voltage within spec. Check ECM grounds as necessary – look for 0.05 volts or less, voltage within spec. recommend replacing the Air /Fuel sensor.
  • Perform inspection and note results on tablet.
  • Remove and replace wiper blades . Verify proper operation.
  • Replace front oxygen sensor
  • Road test vehicle. Change oil and oil filter. Rotate tires as needed. Lubricate chassis as needed. Perform Vehicle inspection. Adjust tire pressure. Fill windshield washer fluid.

  • Removed air intake boot to access throttle body. Attached BG intake cleaning tool to clean throttle body and decarbon intake system. Perform throttle relearn as needed. Disconnected fuel lines and installed BG injector cleaning tool. Started vehicle and ran off BG injector cleaner. Removed tool and reconnected fuel lines. Added BG 44k to fuel tank. Cleared engine codes set during service. Test drove to verify proper operation.
  • Removed the upper intake manifold. Removed and replaced the #1 fuel injector. Replaced all related gaskets, assembled in reverse order, torqued all hardware to spec. Replaced all spark plugs and wires while the intake manifold was off. Cleared fault codes and test drove normal.
  • Test drove and verified the check engine light. Connected the scan tool and found fault code P0301 and P0201. Misfire and faulty cylinder #1 injector. The #1 fuel injector is located under the intake manifold on the front passenger side. The connector and wiring harness are visible with no damage. Engine runs normally and not able to verify any misfire. Suspect faulty fuel injector.

  • Removed left rear wheel, brake caliper and brake rotor to gain access to the wheel bearing, removed and replaced the left rear bearing assembly, re-installed all parts in the reverse order torque all bolt to specification.
  • Removed right front wheel and splash shield to gain access to the timing cover, removed and replaced timing belt, water pump, crankshaft seal, re-installed all parts in the reverse order torqued all bolts to specification.
  • Removed the oil filter housing and replaced gasket, re-installed housing torque all bolt to specification.
  • Replace fuel cap per owner request – about 1 week prior to engine light coming on "gas cap" warning was showing on display…
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.

  • Install oil system cleaner. Road test vehicle. Change oil, install oil protection additive and install new oil filter. Rotate tires as needed. Lubricate chassis as needed. Perform Vehicle inspection. Adjust tire pressure. Fill windshield washer fluid.
  • Perform inspection and note results on tablet.
  • Removed and replaced both front strut/coil spring complete assemblies.
  • Removed and replaced both rear shocks.
  • Removed and replaced both valve cover gaskets.
  • Removed differential fluid using BG differential service tool. Filled rear differential with BG synthetic fluid. Verified fluid at proper level. Road tested vehicle for proper operation.
  • Removed the left front door panel and glass. Removed and replaced the left front power window regulator/motor assembly. Assembled in reverse order. Rechecked operation, normal.
  • Road test vehicle. Check all suspension and steering parts for wear. Check tire pressure and tire condition. Check ride height. Check alignment of all four wheels. Adjust caster, camber, toe-in, and thrust angle as needed on all four wheels. Center steering wheel and adjust steering angle as needed. Road test when complete. Includes 1 reset within 12 months

  • Removed and replaced the coolant bypass solenoid and topped off the coolant level. Using the scan tool, checked the coolant level and engine temperature is normal. Cleared fault codes and test drove. Rechecked normal.
  • Removed and replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor.
  • Test drove and verified the concern. Connected the scan tool and fund fault code P1299 and P2560. Performed pinpoint test diagnosis. Coolant level full, fan operation is normal and no leaks found. Found a TSB related to the fault code and the concern. Need to replaced the coolant temperature sensor and the coolant bypass solenoid.
