  • P0430. Performed pinpoint test diagnosis. Monitored live fuel trim and oxygen sensor data. Found the faulty catalytic converter, bank 2.
  • Verified the concern. Self test found fault code B132F stored in the convertible top module. Performed pinpoint test diagnosis for that fault code. Viewing live data while operating the top, the position sensor would intermittently glitch and go from active to not active. Tested the sensor but the sensor tested ok. Need the replaced the module and sensor.
  • Performed diagnosis, removed the body control module, floor duct and temp actuator. Found the temperature blend door broke off inside the heater box and will not change air temperature any longer.
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.
  • Removed and replaced the drivers side front catalytic converter, exhaust flange gasket, front oxygen sensor, transfered the old rear sensor to new exhaust, torqued all hardware to spec, cleared the fault code, test drove, no fault codes and check engine light is off.
  • Removed the entire dash assembly, metal support frame, windshield, wiper cowl, recovered freon, removed the heater box, and disassembled the heater box. Replaced the plastic temperature door inside the heater box. Assembled in reverse order, torqued all hardware to spec, recharged freon, topped off coolant, installed a new windshield, and rechecked everything operates as designed.
  • Removed the trunk liner, rear back seat bottom, rear seat back, sub-woofer and right side interior trim panels. Removed and replaced the convertible top module, convertible top position sensor (on right side ram), programmed the new module, assembled in reverse order, cleared fault code, rechecked roof now operates as designed and no codes stored.
  • Remove air filter housing cover. Remove old filter and clean debris from housing. Install new filter and re-install housing cover.
  • Removed the spare tire, battery cable end and battery. Pressure washed the battery, battery cable end, vacuum corrosion from trunk and cleaned the cable ends. Assembled in reverse order. Installed battery pads. Charged the battery and load tested, failed.
  • Customer was informed of future recommendations
