  • Performed diagnosis and found the hydro-booster is leaking and power steering hoses are also leaking.
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.
  • removed brake booster. removed power steering hoses. disconnected brake pedal. unbolted hydro booster. removed from vehicle. installed new booster and assembled in reverse order. tightened all bolts and bled air from system.
  • removed left tire and fender liner. disconnected power steering hoses. installed new hoses. installed fender liner and tire. torqued to spec.
  • Add cleaner to power steering system. Road test for power steering operation. Inspect system for leaks. Perform fluid exchange in power steering lines, pump, steering rack / gear box. Install power steering additive to revitalize seals. Road test vehicle.
  • NOTE: vehicle has air bag suspension so make sure to be careful / do whatever necessary before lifting on hoist…

  • Verified the concern. Connected the scan tool and found several codes in the BCM and no communication with the ABS module. Performed electrical diagnosis and found the BCM1 15 amp fuse was missing from the interior fuse panel. Installed a fuse, cleared al the fault codes, test drove and verified normal operation of all the systems.
  • NOTE: this started after owner replaced 15 amp horn fuse under hood, has to replace every few months after horn stops working
  • Perform inspection and note results on tablet.

  • Was able to verify customer concern, scanned vehicle and found glow plug code on passenger bank #3 cylinder. Recommend replacing all glow plugs on that bank.
  • Road test vehicle. Change oil and filter. Rotate tires as needed. Lubricate chassis as needed. Perform vehicle inspection. Adjust tire pressures. Fill windshield washer fluid.
  • Remove and replace wiper blades . Verify proper operation.
  • Removed 3 glow plugs and replaced with new. NOTE: #7 glow plug replaced recently at customers shop back home.
  • Removed old burnt out bulb and replaced with new – check lights to verify proper operation.
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.
  • Removed old left front axle seal and replaced with new.
  • Found fog light fell out of socket/housing, re-installed and re-tested, working as it should.

  • Battery passed the load test and alternator is charging 14 volts.
  • Set all tire pressure.
  • No fault codes found. Monitored live ECM data for all the inputs that are required for the system to operate. Found the invalid data between the ECM and TCM causing the system to be disabled. Found service message #19-NA-077 related to this concern for an ECM reflash.

  • Add cleaner to transmission. Test drive to verify operation and circulate cleaner. Use fluid exhange machine to remove old fluid and add new. Add fluid conditioner and verify proper level. Test drive to verify proper operation.
  • Removed air intake boot to access throttle body. Attached intake cleaning tool to clean throttle body and decarbon intake system. Perform throttle relearn as needed. Disconnected fuel lines and installed injector cleaning tool. Started vehicle and ran off injector cleaner. Removed tool and reconnected fuel lines. Added treatment to fuel tank. Cleared engine codes set during service. Test drove to verify proper operation.
  • Inspect hoses and clamps. Add cleaner to coolant and run through engine, radiator, and heater core. Installed coolant flush machine in-line to coolant system. Pulled vacuum on system to remove old coolant. Pushed 3 gallons of new coolant through cooling system. Add conditioner and sealant to system. Check thermostat and electric cooling fan operation. Test drive and verify proper operation of cooling system.
  • Inspect all hydraulic lines and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders if applicable. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean. Test drove to verify proper brake operation.
  • Add cleaner to power steering system. Road test for power steering operation. Inspect system for leaks. Perform fluid exchange in power steering lines, pump, steering rack / gear box. Install power steering additive to revitalize seals. Road test vehicle.
  • Remove fill plug and clean threads. Extract old fluid. Fill with fresh fluid and verify correct fluid level. Re-install plug.
  • Removed differential fluid using BG differential service tool. Filled rear differential with BG synthetic fluid. Verified fluid at proper level. Road tested vehicle for proper operation.
  • Remove drain plug and drain fluid. Clean threads, put thread sealant on drain plug and installed. Removed fill plug and cleaned threads. Filled with new fluid and verify correct level. Installed plug.
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.
