  • Battery went dead and cleared codes. No codes were stored in the computer during a code scan. Test drove and scanned for codes. Only code found was C121C in the ABS module. This fault code pinpoint test led to needing to replaced the PCM.
  • Removed lens and checked bulbs, good. Connected the scan tool and manually turned on the reverse lamp relay and all reverse light operated. Checked the input signal to the computer while moving the shifter between all hears and the computer shows vehicle is always in park but the instrument cluster agrees with actual shifter position. Vehicle has a V8 Chevrolet engine/transmission installed and addition computers to make system operate. Additional time/diagnosis will be needed to resolve the concern.
  • Verified the concern. Performed electrical system diagnosis and found the main battery cables are loose and corroded causing no start condition. Cleaned battery cables, secured adn rechecked for 3 days, normal.
  • Coolant level in the radiator was low. Added Coolant and test-drove no overheating noticed. Visual inspection, no coolant leak found.
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.

  • Verifield the oil leak. Removed the skid plate for oil leak diagnosis inspection. Diagnosed and found the oil filter is loose and leaking around the o-ring. Also has oil seeping from both valve cover gaskets and possible oil pan gasket. Torqued the oil filter to spec, degreased the area and rechecked no leaks from the oil filter.
  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.
  • Removed the rear differential cover, drained fluid, cleaned surfaces, resealed the cover, installed and torqued to spec. Filled with new fluid and test drove. Rechecked no leaks.
  • Removed the rear driveshaft and yoke. Removed and replaced the rear pinion seal. Degreased the rear differential assembly. Assembled in reverse order, torqued to spec, test drove and rechecked no leaks.
  • Torqued the oil filter to spec, de-greased the area and re-checked, no further leaks from the oil filter area.
  • Customer declined remaining recommendations this visit.

  • Removed old spark plugs and ignition wires, Checked gap on new spark plugs installed new plugs torque to specification and install new ignition wires.
  • Removed air intake boot to access throttle body. Attached BG intake cleaning tool to clean throttle body and decarbon intake system. Perform throttle relearn as needed. Disconnected fuel lines and installed BG injector cleaning tool. Started vehicle and ran off BG injector cleaner. Removed tool and reconnected fuel lines. Added BG 44k to fuel tank. Cleared engine codes set during service. Test drove to verify proper operation.

  • Test drove vehicle. Raised on lift and performed vehicle inspection. Filled out vehicle condition report and submitted to service advisor.
  • Replaced brake fluid cap would not tighten.
  • Removed old drive belt and installed the new drive belt.
  • Customer has been advised of other recommend items.

  • Road test vehicle. Change oil and oil filter. Rotate tires as needed. Lubricate chassis as needed. Perform Vehicle inspection. Adjust tire pressure. Fill windshield washer fluid.
  • Perform inspection and note results on tablet.
  • Please make sure to check all 5 tire pressures. She is passing through town driving to Washington.
  • Remove air filter housing cover. Remove old filter and clean debris from housing. Install new filter and re-install housing cover.
